The University of Southern Mississippi, established in 1910, is located in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Southern Miss is a public institution that comprises of five colleges: College of Arts and Letters; College of Business; College of Education and Psychology; College of Health; and College of Science and Technology. Within the five colleges, nearly 50 different academic departments offer a large number of programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Additionally, several online courses and an International Education program are also conducted.
